Avi joined Capital Nature in 2019 . Prior to joining Capital-Nature, between 2015 – 2019 Avi served as environmental and electricity Engineer in Intel Israel at Fab 28. During his work Avi was in charge of energy efficiency as well as Intel's GHG missions and renewable energy implementation. Prior to joining Intel, Avi served as scientific advisor for the Israeli Ministry of Treasury worked on various national programs including: energy efficiency incentives for the industry sector, greenhouse gas emission towards 2030, and the Israeli natural gas agreement. Prior to that, Avi has accomplished his PhD from the Imperial College, London, focusing on mathematical models for renewable energy technologies. In the framework of his main dissertation, Avi has developed a mathematical model aimed at predicting electricity generation capacity based on atmospheric parameters. The model was proven as an effective tool in choosing the location of solar power plants and is being applied in a number of countries in Europe.
Avi holds BS.c in Environmental sciences, MS.c in Geophysics from Tel-Aviv University and a PhD from Imperial College, London - Energy Future Lab.
