Mr. Shai Levy has been the CEO of ProSeed Venture Capital Fund Ltd (traded on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange as TLV:PRSD) since 2012. Mr. Levy has a key role in managing ProSeed fund’s investments, deal flow, financing and M&A as well as serving on a variety of companies Board of Directors in a wide range of industries.
Mr. Levy gained broad-based management experience with investments in the U.S, Europe and Israel in various sectors mostly focusing on High-Tech, Real Estate and Family Office.
Prior to Joining ProSeed, Mr. Levy served as the Chief Financial & Investment Officer for the Tahari Family in New York for over 5 years, as Director of Financial Reporting & Compliance at the Deutsch Inc, New York (a part of Interpublic Group NYSE:IPG), auditor at PwC, New York and at Ernst and Young Israel.
Mr. Levy holds a Bachelors degree in Accounting and Finance from Tel-Aviv University and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Israel.
Shai has been the CEO and Chairman of leading organizations in Mobile and Medical Technology, Financial Instruments, Real estate, Investments and Renewable Energy including: Comverse APAC and Billing divisions, Geo Interactive (Emblaze), Concord Ventures, BlogTV (Tapuz), Neurovision, Greensol, Capital Nature, Keo Capital , Pekka Holdings. A director in Terrogence, IXI mobile and Proteologics.On the Board of the Israeli Mobile Association since inception. Shai Raised US$700 million for companies and ventures in Israel, USA, APAC and Europe. Responsible for Annual revenues of over US$200M, Shai lived for 7 years in Washington D.C. and 5 years in Hong Kong.
JACK GELMAN is the director of a solar energy and renewable energies developer and investor called Yarotek, LLC. He is also the founder of Forestal Soledad in Caracas, Venezuela. Forestal Soledad is a group of companies in the forest products industry with over 500 employees and $80 million in assets. Mr. Gelman graduated from Universidad Central de Venezuela as a Mechanical Engineer and studied for a Master degrees on Industrial Engineering and Management at the Technion Israel Institute of Technology. Additional he participated in the 3 year OPM Program at Harvard Business School.
Moran Zemel brings a strong background in both general corporate practice and intellectual property. Moran has held the position of Legal Counsel at Elbit Systems since 2015. Prior to Elbit, Moran served as Legal Counsel at Lumenis Ltd. and Legal Counsel and Intellectual Property Manager at Camtek Ltd. She also serves in several boards, including the Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC) in Israel. Moran holds an LL.M. in Law Science and Technology from Stanford Law School, an M.B.A from the Technion Institute of Technology, and an LL.B degree with a special extension in technology and psychology from the Haifa University.
Mr. Stern is the CFO of Direct Insurance Financial Investments Ltd. (“DIFI”) and Zur Shamir Holdings Ltd. (the mother company of DIFI) since 2016. Mr. Stern had various positions in Zur Shamir Group since 2007.
Mr. Stern holds MBA (Financial Management) and BA (Business Management), both from the College of management, and he is a Certified public accountant (Isr.)
Merav has the breadth of experience in the realm of project management and business development as an experienced professional who worked for a large telecoms company in the past and as an investment manager in her current role within Consensus Business Group, a leading UK investment group.Merav brings to the table the vast experience in mobilising companies from small Start Ups to IPO stage and beyond. Further experience is demonstrated by value floatation of invested companies.As Merav sits several boards, she has the benefit of her pivotal position within a vital business stakeholder network.Within her previous role, Merav managed in 012 Smile Ltd broad organisational projects focusing on benefits delivery to top management whilst practiving methodical and highly professional project management skills.
Netta Cohen – CEO, BGN Technologies – Technology Transfer Company of Ben-Gurion University. Appointed CEO of BGN in 2004, Netta Cohen has significantly increased the University’s technology transfer programs, creating relationships with international corporations around the world. In the fields of information systems and communications, BGU now has relationships with global powerhouses such as Deutsche Telekom, EMC, IBM. On the Bio-pharma domain, a number of BGU patented technologies are now in clinical trials and hope to be in the marketplace soon. Prior to joining BGN, Mr. Cohen was VP of Pharma-Israel, The Multinational Pharmaceutical Companies Association. Previously, he was the Director of Finance & BizDev for Novartis Consumer Health and Gerber Baby Food at its regional offices. He began his managerial career at Kibbutz Harish, where he served as its General Manager. Mr. Cohen currently sits on the boards of BotanoCap, MediLogos, Rotec, Inner-Eye and other privately-held companies. He also sits on the board of Deutsche Telekom Innovation Labs at BGU. Mr. Cohen holds an Executive MBA from the University of Bradford, UK, and a BA in Economics from Ruppin Academic Center.
Idit is the CEO of Ardom Management & Holdings, a Capital Nature investor. Ardom includes all cooperative agriculture activities of the region including, the biggest packaging & date sorting house in Israel, marketing of vegetables, regional water association, agriculture R&D, Ardom Computer Services company, and the Ardom propagation of virus free garlic. Idit has B.sc in Math & computers from Ben Gurion University, and brings extensive experience in financial and business management – as former CFO of Strauss Dairies, former CEO of Yotvata, and as chairwoman of Golan Dairies. Idit is married + 3, and is a member of Kibbutz Yotvata in the Arava valley.
Anat Tsour Segal
Joined Capital Nature in 2018, Anat brings expertise in venture creation and development, corporate finance and investment management, with strong focus on innovation. Prior to joining Capital Nature in 2018, Ms. Tsour Segal has executed and managed venture capital and private equity investments for sizable global investors, concentrating in technology, life science, clean-tech, and cyber security. From 2003 – 2016 Ms. Tsour Segal has founded and served as CEO of Xenia Venture Capital, a leading publicly traded (TASE) Israeli seed stage Investment company and a technological incubator. Under Ms. Tsour Segal's guidance, Xenia has seeded over 20 companies that have reached a cumulative value of over $1 Billion and attained several successful exits. Ms. Tsour Segal was also Managing Director & Head of Corporate Finance of Tamir Fishman and held senior Investment Banking and Banking positions with Robertson Stephens/Evergreen, Poalim Capital Markets and Bank Hapoalim.
Anat volunteers as lecturer and mentor in various organizations in the academia and the high -tech eco-system, with a strong emphasis on empowerment of women in the entrepreneurial community.
Ms. Tsour Segal holds a BA in Economics and Management, MBA and L.L.B. from the Tel Aviv University.
